Reviving WPAJ

Way back in the ‘old days’ circa 2002 I was part of a certain–what some would call subculture–website known at westernpajuggalos.com

I used to visit the domain a couple times a year to see what was going on with it. Of course, over time it was left to the wayside. For me it was worth picking up if only to have the domain and keep it from going into the hands of a random host that would serve useless ads on it.

With that being said I noticed one day that the domain was pending cancellation. I waited a couple weeks and was able to pick it up.

Anyway, I’m happily adding the website to my portfolio. I went for a classic and simple layout to memorialize the website. I plan on making updates from time to time but am just happy to have it live.

The face logo is not my own design. It did need some upscaling because of the fact the only available logo was much too small.

Of coursed the main change was redrawing the logo in Illustrator and adding some small facial edits (ears, noticeable face paint fading).

The main design addition for the website is the Western PA Juggalos text logo I created featuring the Pennsylvania Keystone symbol:
